Nova Scotia’s Getting Greener
I’m from Nova Scotia, so when I read this, I felt the need to write about it.
The government of Nova Scotia is finally aligning with the largest environmental non-profit in the province, The Ecology Action Centre, in an effort to combat climate change.The Ecology Acton Centre is supporting the government’s greenhouse gas targets of reducing gas emissions to 10% below 1990 levels by 2020 and their plan to have at least 18.5% of the province’s energy being produced by renewable resources by 2013.
Co-operation is key to creating successful green initiatives, and this collaboration should be successful! I at lest hope it will be!
