Here’s another idea that falls into the “why didn’t I think of that” category. SoupCycle.
As the name implies, this company serves up piping hot delicious organic soup and delivers it weekly by bike, to local residents. The idea is the brain child of Jed and Shauna in Portland, Oregon. They create big batches of vegan, vegetarian, and some meat soup varieties using only local and organic ingredients, and then hop on what looks like a tricycle of sorts and deliver the batches to customers, called Soupetarians.
Cute enough, yes? Very. And smart, too. They have served up over 10,000 bowls of their organic soup since the Summer of 2008.
