The demonstration will occur on an island in the Second Life world, and visitors can lend virtual support. Participants will receive an anti-fur goodie bag, filled with PETA and anti-fur accessories for their avatars an signatures. There are currently 8 million residents of Second Life, and PETA hopes to spread anti-fur awareness among each and every one of them.Virtual residents of Second Life can also donate virtual money to virtual PETA. Real PETA will then convert this virtual money into a real-money donation.

To participate, you have to become a Second Life member. Once you do, if you search for “PETA and Stella McCartney Anti-Fur Protest” you can discover the island and learn how you can join the protest.
