Pizza Fusion Expands To Chicago
One of my favorite pizzerias Pizza Fusion has made its way to the Windy City.
Well more like the outskirts of the Windy City, as in nearby suburban Naperville.
We profiled Pizza Fusion back in August of 2007 and since then they have expanded to many US cities and grown tremendously.
The Pizza Fusion in Naperville, Illinois opened just a weeks ago in April and is owned by a vet restauratuer named Tom Katsenos. He has been in the restaurant business for over 12 years and is excited to bring this eco friendly concept to the Midwest.
The pizza’s at PF are organic and the ingredients are sourced locally. There are vegan and gluten free options available for the cruelty-free crowd. And for deliveries, hybrid cars are used.
From recycled paper menus to bamboo floors from its recycled glass bar top to recycled blue jean insulation on the walls, the restaurant is green from head to toe.
According to its mission – Pizza Fusion is out “to save the world one pie at a time”. Your mission should you choose to accept it – is to eat said pies.
