Portugal’s Silver Coast is Eco Friendly
The development of Royal Obidos Spa and Golf resort, which is being developed by Oceanico Developments, has been given a great accolade of being recognized by the Portuguese Investment Agency. This government backed agency gives awards to developments that show that they have taken care to have a low environmental impact on the region as well as supporting the local community through economy, employment and other projects.
The development is due to be launched some time this year is situated close to the town of Obidos, where there has been a massive injection of cash in the area, around €160 million. The area which is around one hours drive from the countries capital Lisbon, has seen a lot of green influences such as cycle tracks, lakes and of course golf courses.
