Prince Charles’s Aston Martin runs on wine!
The Aston Martin Volante Convertible is thirty eight years old; in fact the Queen gave the car to him for his twenty first birthday. Yet even though it is that old the car has been converted to run on bioethanol, and the fuel in this case has been made from surplus English wine.
Although the Prince would not need to worry about the emissions from this car, as he only gets the car out in the summer and does about three hundred miles year. The prince does have other vehicles at his disposal, like a Jaguar, Audi and several Range Rovers.
