Recycled Shovel Art

by erin on Friday, July 13th, 2007

When I first saw this, I though “Halloween!” But what do I know about art? Nothing!

Artist John T. Unger draws inspiration from everything from the Igpo people of Africa to Native American sculpture to Jean Michel Basquiat’s drawings and uses it to make unique masks out of old, tired shovels.

These unique one-of-a-kind pieces make a great addition to the home, front door or garden. And not just in October, either!

Check out all Unger has to offer at Etsy.
