Recycled Wool Felt Bags for Men, Meet CargaBags
Fellow reader, Garrett from Equity Green, gave us the tip on CargaBags. These high end recycled mens bags are eco chic and gorgeous. The bags which are aimed at men, are made from recycled wool felt and made from fair trade workers based in Argentina. Look at the exquisite detail.
The line of eco-friendly bags are the creation of Mauro Bianucci, who is an architect from Argentina. The bags can be found in shops located in New York, Chicago, California, and a few other states. These are so beautifully well crafted and hip. Love them.
For more information, visit the Carga Bag gallery and website here.

Some “green” people are going to get worked up by two things: the fact that they are being shipped from Argentina and the price…with the point being how “sustainable” are these bags in the first place if they are being shipped across the world…which is a good point and hard to argue. What I like is the fact that they have a cool, masculine look and they are made from recycled materials that you wouldn’t normally think of being used to make a carry around bag like this. If they “sustainable” angle really becomes an issue, which it shouldn’t, you can find felt like that here in the states. By the way, thanks for the props!
