Recycling Idea From ESU Will Benefit Soldiers
Here is a simple but cool idea that will benefit soldiers abroad while also doing something good for the environment.
A school in Emporia, Kansas is planning to collect used cell phones during a home game with another school. The plan is to collect the cell phones and then sell them with the proceeds going towards acquiring prepaid phone cards for soldiers stationed in Iraq. Plus the students receive a $1.00 off on admission to the game. A win win for everyone.
A great example of a simple but effective idea on getting the local community involved in cell phone recycling on a good sized scale. This idea comes courtesy of ESU, Emporia State University.
