During the dark years of WWII, the British government produced a wide range of posters that appeared virtually everywhere. These were information posters that were designed to keep the spirit going and warn the public of what to look out for i.e. “Careless Talk, Costs Lives” these were the governments way of connecting with the public.

Another slogan was “Keep Calm and Carry On” this message was supposed to keep the general public working hard and not to worry about the bombs that were falling all around them. In keeping with these public spirited messages, eco designers Howies have reinvented the slogans for their T Shirts with an eco edge to them, like “Get Excited and Make Things” the true green message at its best.
