Rescued Paper Notebook, Cute As A (Recycled) Button
You know paper is one of those innocuous things we tend to literally set aside and not give much though to, but when we do put our mindful caps on – we notice the sheer relevancy of paper and its impact on the planet.
What does this all mean? How does a sheet of paper become a vessel for winning the global warming war? Well it comes down to sustainability.
As in sustainning what currently exists, what currently is already HERE. Not creating more of what we already have so much of, in excess. Imagine for one second, the gobs and gobs of paper used in your average traditional bank or mortgage office? Yep, they use alot of paper daily. Those two industries in particular are very paper centric. However in recent times, many offices which are paper heavy – have begun creating paper-friendly programs. Good news indeed.
One such way to patronize the un-paper movement (i just invented that term) is to switch to using products made with recycled paper or upcycled paper. For example, the rescued paper notebook above is made using only gift wrap paper, poster paper, etc.
Re-using truly is the ultimate eco friendly action. Nothing beats it!
