Saving the Ozone Layers with Eco-Friendly Air Conditioning

by Brian Yalung on Monday, May 12th, 2008

VRF Air Conditioning

Most people today look towards air conditioning as a form of added bonus when it comes towards working effectively and living leisurely. Apparently, these AC units also have a bearing when it comes to Ozone layer depletion and such should be addressed as well.

Blue Star has taken that step in installing Variable Refrigerant Flow air conditioning systems to prevent Ozone layer issues as well as a part of their going green program as well.

The company is the first to manufacture such eco-friendly and energy-efficient systems indigenously, a press release issued here stated.

“The launch of these energy efficient VRF systems with an eco-friendly refrigerant to prevent ozone depletion is yet another initiative of the company in the area of going green,” the company’s Deputy Managing Director T Gouri Sankara Babu said in the release.
