Well unfortunately for shoppers waiting at the Wholefoods store on Columbus Circle I anticipation of being able the buy one of the special and in great demand Annie Steinberg “I’m Not a Plastic Bag” shopping bags, as the had a stock of around 3000!
The pouring rain did not stop the fans of the bag queuing up outside for the store to open at 0800. But for anyone who got to the store for 0830 they would have been greeted by those word that are such a let down “Sorry they are Sold Out” 3000 bags in thirty minutes at $48.74 for three bags, I wonder how many of those are on eBay?
