Solar boat crosses the Atlantic
Boating and cruising is never going to be the same, after this ferry or cruiser managed to cross the Atlantic Ocean from the Bahamas to the Canary Islands use solar power only.
These boats have been designed as passenger ferries and in fact these boats are already in use on the lakes and rivers of France, Switzerland, and Germany, they can reach a heady speed of five to six knots on a nice sunny day, and just a bit lower when it is cloudy.
The running costs of these boats are up to forty five times less than the running costs of the normal boat, and have a passenger capacity of between 15 and 75 depending on the configuration.
The company who build these boats are planning a house boat following the same design, it will be 28 feet long, have a four bunk cabin, small kitchen and bathroom. The cabin area is completely covered with solar panels, which supply the batteries with energy. It is believed that the price for this house boat will be between $65,000 to $110,000.

Hello Everyone,
I am a golfer myself and I like to play whenever I get a chance.
A short while ago, a very good friend of mine told me about a great golfing equipment and accessories website that has discounted prices on all their products, same day shipping in most cases and there is no state sales tax, they are paying that.
So if any golfer here is ready to save some money on quality products at highly discounted prices, you might want to check out their site at; http://hoffmangolf.com
