Solar Power on a Roll

Solar power has come a long way recently and now it’s even available on roll. This is going to revolutionize the way in which solar power can be integrated into everyday products.

This particular brand of solar film is PowerFilm. It was developed by two former 3M research physicists, Dr. Frank Jeffrey and Dr. Derrick Grimmer, who founded the company twenty years ago in 1988.

The panels are thirteen inches wide and can be any length up to 2,400 feet long depending on what they are needed for. The process in which the panels are made is eco friendly because it uses less silicon and they are free from cadmium.
