Solar powered amber globes

by David Allen on Thursday, November 8th, 2007

Depending on where you live, the winter is drawing in now, it actually gets dark here in the UK around 5.00pm, but on a bright day garden lights these ones will charge up and when it gets dark they will give off a nice warm glow.

As with many of these products there is no optimal time for how much sun they would need to get fully charged, but I suppose as long as they are giving off a nice light in the early evening that would be enough.

The stalk is made from stainless steel so there will be no corrosion problems and they will switch on automatically when the light fades.
