Sony Creates Battery That Runs on Sugar
Sony has created an eco-friendly battery that is powered by sugar, according to the report the battery produces enough juice to power an MP3 player and a pair of speakers.

Sony stated, “the bio battery’s casing is made of a vegetable-based plastic. It measures 3.9 cm (1.5 inch) along each edge and works by pouring sugar solution into the unit, where enzymes break it down to generate electricity”.
“Sugar-based batteries are the future”, Sony declares. Looking at the photo, the battery looks quite odd and rather big, but as a prototype, i’m sure it will be improved with time and trial.
