These colourful floral bags, have been designed by the British designer Stella McCartney, these are called eco friendly bags which are made from faux leather etc, but that would apparently be the only claim to being green, nothing else.

There are two styles a bucket bag and the regular hand bag, there are no details on prices etc and really we wouldn’t expect that anyhow would we? One thing is for sure they are not going to be cheap.

Stella has an eye for design, and she also makes alot of animal friendly and cruelty-free fashions. You gotta love and appreciate her for that. (I do)

Thanxs for visiting, come again.

i’m wondering why most of the eco-friendly items are expensive to buy? i think the price of eco-friendly products vs. those that we usually buy is an issue should have resolve so that the campaign of being a environment-friendly wins.

Hi—-Josephine:

Many green products and services are priced abit higher than other products because it is not widely and readily available just yet. But as being green grows and more folks use eco friendly items, the prices will go down. There are a few resources online to do price comparison on products. One is Shopzilla, others are Google Products (formerly known as Froogle) on a sidenote i really dont know why they changed the name, i really digg the name Froogle.

Anywho, lets get back on topic, another price engine is MySimon. Essentially you type in the product you are looking for (example, CFL bulbs) and they will produce a list of shops that carry the item, and list them by price (high to low or low to high) you choose this. I use Shopzilla all the time, before i shop.

Another great resource for low cost green items, is EBAY. Hope i’ve helped you some, do bookmark us, and feel free to ask any other questions.

Missy.
