Surfer Creates Eco-Friendly Furniture

A new line of furniture, Maki Furniture, was founded by famed surfer Johnny West. The line is a variety of eco-friendly wood furniture that is designed mostly for outdoor use.

The material is mostly reclaimed or plantation-grown sustainable Indonesian teak. This high quality woods means that your investment is well worth it. This furniture is high class and designed to last.

Maki Furnishings also claims to be a member of the organization One Percent for the Planet, which is an organization that encourages businesses to donate one percent of their annual earnings to an environmental cause.

The products are a bit pricey (example: $1,399 for a chaise), but each piece has intricate hand detailed carvings and panels.
