Sydney’s Bean Drinking Launches Eco-Coffee
Aussie coffee company Bean Drinking launched a new brand of coffee today they call ECO.
“Coffee is the world’s second most widely traded commodity, and as such its production has grown significant environmental and social impacts in the countries where it is grown and harvested,” Keith Reay, the owner of Bean Drinking said. “Many consumers are aware of this and are looking for alternatives which not only offer a fairer deal to the farmers growing the product but also look to protect and nurture the natural environment of the country in which the coffee is grown.
“The coffee beans in ECO are selected for their taste, but the roots of the coffee run far deeper as every one of the beans in ECO is Rainforest Alliance Certified and is therefore grown under superior environmental and social conditions.”
Knowing how much coffee I drink, I’m sure that the Aussie coffee connoisseurs are very excited about this development! More more information, check out Bean Drinking’s website.
