Tesla set to develop their own charging stations
The California air resources board and California energy commission have announced how they plan to share out the $25 million worth of grants for the alternative fuel incentive program.
One of those that will be receiving a share are the California based Tesla Motors, they got $561,000 for the development of the UL approved 16 Kw commercial charging station, these will be available for the public. The rest of the funding went to the building and upgrading of E85 and CNG stations, and of course the various bio fuel start up schemes.
For Tesla Motors this means a lot, as it shows how much faith the organizations have in them, and it has to said that it is true, their cars that they build are excellent and of course run purely on battery power.
