The Decline Of Wind And Solar Power

A while ago sales of solar panels and wind turbines were going through the roof, but due to the recent financial crisis banks are making it difficult to borrow money and therefore these projects which would have be going ahead today, have been put on hold until there are signs of change.

 

 

This has put pressure on the industry too as lack of sales means poor revenues, this has meant that companies who produce these products are suffering, in fact the industry as whole are predicting a decline of between thirty and fifty per cent. If this continues then firms could up closing down meaning job losses and the loss of reasonably priced eco friendly power generating equipment.
