The Environmental Traffic Light
This is another entry to get through the final fifty of the Greener Gadgets Design Competition and a good one it is, the Environmental Traffic Light monitors the surrounding area for Co2 levels, humidity, air pressure and others too in order to give people an idea of the air quality at that time.
The post can be erected almost anywhere and it has displays similar to those that pedestrians use to know when it is safe to cross the road. Except these displays show what is in the atmosphere in the surrounding area. This is useful information but the displays are far too small and really, this sort of equipment should place by busy intersections for all to see.
