The GreenBag launched by Shoemart Supermarket

We have heard all across the globe of varying ways to help promote green. A lot of them include using eco-friendly bags for people to use when they shop and do their groceries. One of the notable places that has adopted this is the SM Supermarkets in the Philippines.
Known for being among the successful tycoons in Asia, SM Supermarkets has joined the growing number of corporations adhering towards green standards by introducing the GreenBag for use of their valued customers for the sake of helping environmental concerns we are faced with today.
The Greenbag, an initial project of SM Cares (Concerned and Responsible Eco-Shoppers), can be used in lieu of the ordinary plastic bag. It aims to reduce waste by decreasing the use of plastic bags in shopping. It’s made of durable non-woven material that can approximately last up to two years of weekly shopping. The contents of two regular plastic bags can easily fit inside a Greenbag.

We need to find many new ways to make more products green for example the plastic bags from the supermarket could be changed to a more eco friendly type.
