This Tie Has Got The Power
With so many methods of recharging your favorite gadgets, designers are constantly looking around for other ways of showing how solar power can be used in everyday life. In this case, students at the Iowa State University have been combining solar charging capabilities with fabrics.

Once combined these fabrics can be used in a variety of ways. However, this time they have developed it into a neck tie, which actually looks remarkably normal, but what other people will not know is that the wearer could be secretly charging up their mp3 player or some other gadget. It’s a cool idea with hot properties.
