Top 7 Green Fall Fashion Trends 4 Women
Pick-up any glossy (or non glossy) fashion mag for women, and you will see a mention on the fall fashion trends for 2007. This should permeate on through to green fashion trends as well. ShoppingTheTrend.com has a list of the Top 10 Mush Haves and looking through the list, i see a few eco friendly choices for those of us who like to be stylish and green.

If you are looking to update or recycle your summer wardrobe into something abit more fall like, then check out the following hot green trends.
In no particular order, here are Top 7 Green Fall Fashion Trends 4 Women:
- patent leather shoes and bags
- retro boy chic
- menswear (very hot this fall, according to nymag.com)
- hats (all styles)
- metallics and sequins
- bows
- colors red, gray, silver, fuschia, cobalt blue, and purple
The worst fall trend, feathers and fur. Boo! to both of these. Say no to leather, feathers, and fur. Interestingly enough, InStyle has a poll on their site asking people “What Fall Trend Are You Most Excited To Try, and out of over 1,300 votes cast, not one has been cast for feathers, which on the poll they title “luxe trimmings”. Yippee.

Thanks for this post. Actually, our site’s next Top 10 list covers green items, which is why I had to comment!
There are plenty of eco-friendly materials out there, and many designers have made specific items to bring awareness to fashion-lovers.
Anya Hindmarch launched her “I’m not a plastic bag” that was sold exclusively in the UK at Sainsbury’s (grocery store) and sold out very quickly in the US! Let’s hope more designers continue the trend.
