Toyota Launches Luxury Hybrid
Toyota announced today, their new luxury hybrid model. They are calling it their most advanced hybrid vehicle ever and that they hope to become the world’s leader in automotive hybrid technology.
This new Lexus model will run on a 5 V8 — traditional Lexuses have 3 or 3.5 liter V6 engines — and has a unique 4 four wheel braking system that will recover more energy and lead to less carbon dioxide emissions.
The vehicle is originally available only in Japan — where they hope to sell 7000 models within the first few months –, but will launch in the European and North American markets next month.
This model will cost between $80,500 and $125,000.
