Trainers Made From Bus Seat Material

by David Allen on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

These are great looking shoes that have been made from the leftover seat material from coverings on public buses. In this case, the material is used on First Buses who operate throughout the UK and can be found in London; they have a fleet of nine thousand buses and carry around three million passengers a day.

Restored London Bus seat covers.
Trim: 100% recycled or repurposed leather
Sole: 33% recycled tyre rubber
All 100% salvaged UK waste
Remade in Portugal
Features: Retroflective safety strip
Priced at around $80
