Trashy make great bags
There is so much trash around these days that some people are actually getting down to doing something about it. In this case it is the Trashy Bags people from Ghana, West Africa, who are cleaning up in more ways than one.
As the organisation motto reads, “Our bags are complete trash” which is a pretty good statement.
They collect as many of the plastic drink bottles that have been discarded throughout the country of Ghana. They then somehow manage to patch all of these together to make the product known as Trashy Bags.

It will be interesting to see if this trend takes off. A few years ago someone got an idea to turn used sails into handbags and now it is a fashion trend. The used sail bags are made of really firm modern sail material that is heavy and rather rigid. The bags shown above are along the same line, heavy and rigid.
