UK Chocolate Maker Goes Fairtrade
One of the largest producers of the chocolate products in the UK, Cadbury, is looking to change their image from a producer that just makes a product to a business that is taking large strides to become an industry leader in ethical trading.
Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Chocolate is the leading brand in the UK and from now on will be sporting the Fairtrade logo on their products. This logo shows that the holder purchases their raw materials under Fairtrade terms, meaning that thousands of farmers and communities in Ghana will benefit from this deal.
