This necklace has been made from a natural product called, vegetable ivory. This produces a wonderful range of colours but is completely sustainable and an alternative to elephant ivory.

Vegetable Ivory is a seed that is obtained from a palm tree called Hyphaene Phytelephas found in the Amazonian rain forest.
