Are Vegetarians Considered A Threat By US Army?
Just read an interesting article on Media Vision on how the US Army treats vegetarians as a threat. Did you know this? I didn’t, this is news to me.
It seems that the US Army stakes out Twitter, the micro blogging platform to check on those who they consider as threats. Who do they consider as threats? See list below.
socialists, human rights groups, communists, vegetarians, anarchists, religious communities, atheists, political enthusiasts, and hacktivists.
A report out by the US Army Intelligence states that Twitter is used by the above groups of people to carry out messages and whatnot. And that this info needs to be monitored.
As a vegetarian this information is (almost funny), didn’t know my veggie eating ways would be seen as a threat. But to who? This is ridiculous and there should be some sort of outrage.
What does this all mean? I really dont know, but hopefully someone will get to the bottom of it and shed some light.
