How cool would it be if a technology existed that would bring your clunky A/C into the 21st century? Or how about a device that makes your OLDER energy guzzling air conditioning unit more energy efficient.

Well that is exactly what the guys and gals at Viridis Earth are working on. They have come up with a solution to the problem of old a/c units that consume loads of energy. The newer models out now tend to be much more energy friendly than older models, so the device that Viridis has created, is specifically targeted at old a/c units.

A retrofit device if you will. The price of this eco friendly technology is tentatively set at around $350 and the creators are claiming that owners will get their money back in less than a year. Not bad.

What Will The Energy Savings Amount Look Like?

Approximately 20 to 35% less energy will be consumed with the adoption of the Viridis a/c unit retrofit device.
