Want A Piece Of Times Square In NYC?
Well now you can have a piece and even cooler than that is you can have the piece turned into a recycled billboard totebag.
But how you ask? Target. In a deliciously creative move, giant eco friendly retailer Target has partnered up with the City of New York to advertise on one of their massive billboards, and then have the art recycled into gorgeous totebags.
In fact the bags are already available online at Target.com but the actual totebags won’t be available till early next year. So you can pre-order but they’re not quite available just yet to wear.
The bags will come in several style choices and will mirror the nine billboards that four New York artists designed. The actual bags will be created by another top fashion icon named Anna Sui and if you want to own a piece of NYC, you can have it for $29.99 and when all 1,600 bags sell out. You’re out of luck.
