So you’re going through last years winter wear, when you  come across a few older sweaters which have withered away and died a horrible death.

No need to fret, as any of the ten DIY projects hashed over at the Eco Salon blog will inspire greatness. I’m really digging the pet bed made from an old sweater and a pillow. This is a fantastic re-invention project for that DIY selfer who can’t bare the thought of tossing an old sweater who’s time has come too soon.

Simple, chic and eco friendly, this idea should work for you. If any of our readers give it a try, do send in a pic and we’ll feature it on the blog in an upcoming post.

If you don’t have pets and want to try something else, read the article linked above and see which of the ten DIY Operation Old Sweater projects grab you.
