White House Grows Organic Veg On Roof
There is not long to go now before Barack Obama is sworn in as the President of the United States and there is no doubt that he has some eco friendly policies that he will be wanting to implement as soon as possible.
However, one thing that he will not have to work on is the supply of organic vegetables for those banquets because there has been a roof top vegetable garden supplying the President, his family and guest since the early days of the Clinton era. Yes, both President Clinton and Bush have been dining home grown organic veg for some time, maybe it should be called the Green House.

Well, I am glad that the Presidents are doing something to make the place a little more green. Maybe if enough Americans knew about this, rooftop greenhouses would be a little more common place. At the same time, I understand that it’s a very difficult thing to implement. There are costs and labor that goes into it, which not everyone has excess to spare.
