		<description>While recycling is always important, in this case it might be (ironically) better for the environment to just buy cork new. 70% of the profit from cork farming has traditionally come from the wine industry. However, with more and more wineries trying to cut corners by using metal caps or plastic corks, natural cork farming is poised to take a real hit. Since cork trees do such a good job of converting CO2 into oxygen, if people stop farming them the environment ends up being the one that suffers.</description>
