Wine In A Box Is Very Eco Friendly

There was a time when people who bought wine in a box were considered as being crazy or as having no taste at all. But it seems that they may have been right all along, because recently it has been announced that wine in a box creates much less carbon dioxide emissions than a the wine that comes in a bottle.

Apparently, according to Dr Vino, the standard glass bottle if transported from California to New York will produce around 5.2 pounds of emissions, but when the wine is in a box, the emissions are halved.
