Boston-Power Unveiling SWING Model

Boston-Power announces two great developments for people and car lovers. One is that of the scheduled first look of the Swing, the company’s product for Plug-in Hybrid and Battery Electric Vehicles (PHEV/BEV). The only eco-certified battery of its kind, Swing is poised to drive the adoption of PHEVs and BEVs by establishing new benchmarks in energy density, long life, safety, weight, cost and environmental sustainability.
The next is the new plant that they are planning to open in Massachusetts. This will mean new and advanced batteries as the demand for them is expected to grow while at the same time opening new job opportunities for people who have been laid off, particularly in the automotive sector.
These are indeed welcome news, particularly for people who are aching to weight their green options for car use and of course jobs to help in their financial needs. With such a promising outlook, Boston-Power continues to live up to its name as being a reliable group to bank on.
“Our goal is to make Massachusetts a manufacturing hub for the advanced batteries that will power the nation’s clean energy future, and Boston-Power’s plan to create this facility in Auburn is a big step toward that goal,” said Governor Deval Patrick. “We look forward to working with the company and our colleagues in the Congressional delegation to make this happen.”
