Swiss 8 Solar Charger
Here is another useful charger for the folks who have lots of gadgets in tow. The Swiss 8 Solar charger features stick-shaped batteries that are encased in a notebook-like casing which actually reveals solar panels which recharge the said batteries.
The batteries are ideal only for devices with USB-ports although the batteries themselves can reportedly recharge themselves independently when they get ample sunlight for about 6 hours. The batteries are made of lithium-ion and are compatible with most devices like the iPhone.
Expected to be launched by Spring, the Goal Zero Switch 8 Solar Charger costs about $99.99 and can actually be purchased at REI retailers or online.
