Nintendo Wii is Most Eco-Friendly Game Console

Everyone is familiar with the famous game consoles out today and apparently the only thing remaining is determining which is eco-friendly as far as concept of these game consoles were initially done. Of the three large names in the gaming consoles we hear today, it has been reported by the National Resources Defense Council that the most eco-friendly game console is the Nintendo Wii for the lowest power consumption of 16 watts.
Now this may be premature for gamers at this point. Choices still depend on the games and of course affordability. But if you happen to plan to buy one in the near future and want to consider eco-friendliness, it would be best to consider the Wii for good measure.
In fact, comparing the Wii to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is like comparing the electric car to a couple of SUVs. While the Nintendo Wii uses just 16 watts of power while in active mode, the Xbox 360 uses 119 watts, which is over 7 times more than the Wii, and the PlayStation 3 uses 150 watts, which is almost 10 times more than the Wii.
