Solar Powered iPod Speakers

If there is one thing about iPod speakers that needs to be addressed, it is that of their source of power. Particularly for the mobile iPod docks, batteries are normally the source of their power. But with solar energy kicking up its campaign, here is a solar powered iPod dock that should do away all that.

The way it works is that your iPod docks into the speaker, drawing power from its rechargeable lithium battery which stores the sun’s energy. Three hours of solar charging are required for one hour of use. If you want one of these Solar-Powered iPod Docks, you can get one for $199.
