Solar Powered Robot Kit

by erin on Sunday, June 17th, 2007

This neat solar alien robot kit can teach a lid a lot of things about alternative energy and electricity, such as how to put together a gearbox, how to set up an automatic motor and how to connect up a simple wiring circuit with solar panel, battery, motor and switch.

It’s designed to be solar powered, so once he is built, you can set him out in the sun and watch him do his thing. It’s a great gift for inquisitive, hands-on kids.

However, there are over 100 parts involved. so it might not be suitable for the really small hands! It measures 13cm x 18cm x 8cm once it is built.

It’s £29.00 and is available through Eco-centric.
