Sprint Unveils Eco-friendly Packaging
Eco-friendly packaging is all over the news today and apparently Sprint is following the trend. Being a popular spot for mobile phones and gadgets, the need for eco-friendly packaging should be something that will place Sprint into the record books. Actually they have been named the 15th Most Green Telecom Company and are bound to be ranked higher in the future.
Beginning this month, Sprint will ship out these packages to all retail and online stores. The packages have become about 20 to 40 percent smaller, which will save 647 tons of waste each year; it will also help Sprint save 35% on packaging and shipping costs, to the tune of around $2.1 annually.
