It’s not really surprising why this lamp got its inspiration from Disney’s lovable character, Winnie the Pooh. Everyone who has watched the fabled cartoon character probably knows by now how Winnie often looks for honey, in pots oozing with honey that eventually drip out.
Designer Nikolo Kermiov outs a white ceramic backed lamp which comes close to that familiar mold of a beehive together with holes and pastel-yellow faux honey to add a little luster as well as rendition of the actual honey-inviting look.
The holes are plugged with corks which softly light up once the lamp is turned on. The corks can either be left in the lamp for a subtle lamp glow or taken out to create spotlights. The electrical cable also goes through the very top cork stopper so that the beehive lamp can hang vertical like a real beehive would from a tree.
