One thing about the phones these days such as the iPhone 5 or the Samsung Galaxy S3, their battery sucks big time. The need to have your power cable or charger ready is a must unless you want to end up with a dead phone while on the go.
With all that said, lucky patrons of Qualcomm’s new phone may have lesser worries. Qualcomm plans to makes smartphones with Mirasol display screens, a neat innovation to help folks get through the day without worrying about running low on juice.
Apparently the Mirasol feeds off an external light to illuminate its images. This technology is six times more power efficient than LCD and OLED screens.
As far as the specs is concerned, the new Qualcomm phone will feature 2560 x 1440 in resolution, 5.1 inches diagonally at 576 pixels per inch. Although such is a concept, such would be a cool upgrade with all the battery woes that folks have to deal with these days.
