Envirowise Look Into Packaging
Packaging designers are to get some help from the UK government when it comes to deciding what sort of packing and what type of packaging is eco friendly. The government organisation Envirowise will be running webinars, which can be viewed through the user’s computer.
The webinars will be taking place in February of next year and will cover everything from eco design to relevant legislation. This is a good idea as this type industry can find the rules changing on a regular basis.
Guy Bashford, Envirowise North-East manager, said: “The feedback we had from last year’s webinar was extremely positive, with nine out of ten of those who participated saying they would sign up for another one.
“Since then, we have developed the content to give a broader picture and include more practical elements which we think will be of use and interest to anyone involved in the process.”
