It is no secret that the callous attitude if mankind is responsible for the deteriorating condition of Earth. And those who think global-warming is just hogwash and environmentalists are guilty of exaggeration should check out the new Timelapse by Google.
The stunning Timelapse by Google is the closet thing to a time machine right now and illustrates the major changes on Earth since 1986. Although it can only go back 28 years, it clearly lets us see the melting and drifting of glaciers, the urban growth and the deterioration of the world’s forests.
Each frame of the timelapse map is constructed from a year of Landsat satellite data, constituting annual 1.7-terapixel snapshot of the Earth at 30-meter resolution.
