It took 11 years to make this coat but the real kicker is that the coat is made from human hair.
That is right, this Chinese woman, Xiang Renxian, preserved her hair and wove it into a jacket and a hat for her husband.
Using her own hair, Renxian used around 116,058 strands of her hair to produce them into clothes. Xiang began by combining 15 pieces of hair to use as a singles strand to make her husbands coat.
In five years, she saved and knitted enough hair to make the main body of the coat.
The hair-hat required 20 strands of hair, carefully weaving them together as one strand to make a more rigid surface than the coat.
