At first, reading about battery-powered technology seemed a bit awry but once you get to understand the intent as bared through the ACA Journal Nano Letters, it suddenly makes sense.
We have been seeing various recharging solutions using solar or kinetic powered gadgets. Now, integrating solar powered batteries woven into textiles may just pave the way for charging devices wirelessly and more.
Further, the breakthrough could also go as far as tracking our health concerns, guide the disabled and so on. So does integrating solar powered batteries into textiles make sense?
Well depending on how you look at it (as well as how advanced you are), it does have its advantages. But one area, particularly the charging part does raise some questions. Like for example, recharging your device while wearing the battery powered clothing could pose some radiation risks.
Then again, this is going way ahead of the whole concept. Its official intention has yet to be divulged but surely, all these concerns and bases should be covered by then.
